The IRATA Level 1 rope access training course is the entry-level operator qualification level. It’s aimed at individuals with little or zero previous experience in environments in which ropes and associated equipment are used to gain access to hard-to-reach or at-height locations in order to carry out work.
You must be over the age of 18, and medically fit to work at heights..
The IRATA level 1 training is a total of 6 consecutive days - 1 day refresher, 4 days training, 1 day independent assessment. Cost of the course is R11,500 per person excluding VAT.
On acceptance to the course, a R4 000.00 deposit (non-refundable) to confirm your spot on the course is required. Payment can be made online. If WACO Rope Access cancels the course your deposit will be refunded. Balance is due at least 7 days before the course starts. Failure to pay could result in losing your place on the course and your deposit.
